Hi All,
I am about to upgrade/replace my bath with Bette Starlet steel bath.
I was wandering if there is anybody out there with experience of full or partial anti-slip on Bette baths who would be kind enough to advise if it is really worth the price upgrade?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, we have a Bette steel bath but not with anti slip finish. I haven't found it a problem and we have an over the bath shower too.0

I fitted many of these baths over the years, I always rated them as a manufacturer.
If you're using the bath with a shower then I'd strongly advise the non slip coating, if it is a bath only and you have a stand alone shower I'd be less bothred by it.0 -
Thank you for your answers.
Alan M can you please answer one more question - is the texture of antislip harsh? In other words, would it make the bath uncomfortable for bathing?
Thank you.:)0 -
The nature of the anti slip material is rough, however it is only applied at the plug end (assuming this is not a double ended bath).
So it's not actually covering the area where you sit.
If you have a central waste (I think the Starlet is central waste) - then it's actualy in the centre of the bath balanced either side of the plughole.
I wouldn't think it were uncomfortable.0
