So long as you don't tap the pot it looks quite good! Mind you, one of my pots got slightly scratched in transit and the decorative covering came off slightly. HTH. (They have been reduced to £4.99 and you should get free postage if you go through Gardeners World website.)
Do they look like £4.99 worth, though or more or less please?
(I do know it is subjective, just wondered what your opinion was!)
Thanks.

Thank you, I decided to take the plunge and ordered 3 for relatives and one for me. As long as they look half decent I am happy
I did think they looked big in the photo though. Comping from May 2012
Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help

Hmmm I know I didn't really answer the original question but if you were getting them for yourself then I'd say they did look £9.99. If you are getting them as a present and you wanted the gift to appear dearer then the tin pot might give it away. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice pot and the shoots are just coming up so in a few weeks the pot will look better when the flowers are in full bloom.
ETA: The crocus pot and the mini trio plants do appear to look bigger in the photos on their website so just be aware of that when you order. I ordered the gardenia mini trio for myself and was a little disappointed the gold bar the pots sit in is really just a cheapo plastic holder. I'd ordered the mini rose trio for a friend and realised if the gardenia was in the plastic holder the mini rose trio will be too!0
