How did you manage to get three for £4.95? It charged that price for everyone I put in my basket!
SOrry- I meant £4.95 postage for all three not each!
  • Thanks very much OP, just ordered one for my mum.

I ordered two crocus planters when they were £9.99 I think in their catalogue. The recent glitch with gift vouchers had helped but it would have been better at this new price! I thought the pots would be ceramic but they are made of cheap tin but still very decorative. Also the mini trio flower sets say they come in a gold bar. They come in gold plastic lol. Still, they have brilliant customer service and I will be definitely ordering from them again.

I was supposed to get free carnations with my recent order but they haven't materialised and nothing is mentioned on my dispatch note. Oh well I still had a good bargain.

I have just read that they are in a 7inch square zinc pot, is this measured from the bottom or the top of the pot as it goes out. Also do you think they look £9.99 worth? Thanks
    Comping from May 2012 :D

Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help :)
  • Thank you for this. I've ordered one for my parents and one for my grandmother. I'm sure they'll love them and am looking forward to my carnations arriving.

Thanks for this OP. I've ordered one for my grandmother and another for a friend's birthday. And of course, some lovely carnations for me!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!
  • I do not get it. It's £10 (£5 for the item and £5 for delivery). How is this a grabbit? Can someone explain, please?

I think my Gran would rather get this than half a bunch of flowers from the petrol station.

We can all have a go at OPs - and admittedly many Grabbits don't work for me but I try not to post anything negative because they probably appeal to somebody lol.

With respect, Kiorhassan - noting your post count (5) and your thanks count (0) - you could do well to post up a few Grabbits yourself and no doubt many of us will thank you for it.

Ooooer, I just measured the pot and they say the pot is 7" square and it isn't! Measuring across the top it is 6" and from bottom to top it is 5 and a half inches. So long as you don't tap the pot it looks quite good! Mind you, one of my pots got slightly scratched in transit and the decorative covering came off slightly. HTH. (They have been reduced to £4.99 and you should get free postage if you go through Gardeners World website.)

One man's grabbit is another man's confusion kiorhassan.
From my point of view, I have to get presents, in the next few days, for 3 female relatives in different parts of the country. To post items to them is expensive. ALso I have to think of someting original and nice to get them. As the postage covers ALL THREE for £4.95, here is an opportunity to get something which looks expensive and relatively thoughtful to three people delivered for less than £6 each. And I did it last night without leaving the sofa.
    What's not to like?:D
