Vent; Debenhams customer service

There is an item of furniture on their website I am interested in, but there are no specifications. Their email is 'out of action' so I had the call 'customer services.' 25 minutes, and after being passed from pillar to post, spouting off the same problem and ref. numbers and description to all and sundry, 4 people later, no-one could help.
The final straw came when the girl said I'll pop you on hold while I call a store. I stopped her in her tracks and asked someone to call me back as I had been waiting long enough: they don't have outside lines, she said!! I said forget it, I'll call the store myself.
The guy at the store was quite helpful and took my number as he would have to get someone from HO to call me as the item wasn't in their stock. That was 2 days ago.
Another sale lost. Pathetic.
