I am not sure as I dont have a PSP or heard of this happening but I am sure the screen can be replaced best thing to do is to ring Sony CS (if its a good priced number) and ask them.0

Is the screen itself cracked or the plastic cover screen (same as mobile phone screen, and cover screen) If you cannot get it fixed under warranty, then the covers are about £10 from eBay and the actual screens are about £25. I'd get someone to fit the actual screen if that is broke as it is very easy to damage when replacing.0

I did this earlier this year for my son's PSP. Screen was a bit dearer then, but at around £35 was cheaper than a replacement!
There are loads of instructions (with step by step photos) on the net for replacing these, and it took less than 10 mins to do it. You do need to remove a screw under one of the warranty stickers in the battery bay though, so the warranty will be void once you've done it.0 -
bear in mind this will invalidate your warranty!0

or you could go to Sony and pay a silly price to have it done. Forget the warranty, save the money now and DIY.0

check your home insurance, you may have accidental damage cover.
I only found out i was covered for my laptop ( on which the screen had cracked) whilst talking to the CS lady at direct line whilst renewing mineNever put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..
