Hi Experts,

Does anyone used torch on felt flat roof, i am looking to convert asbestos roof to flat roof and it's 16x9 foot and the local roofer quoted me £900 just for the roof. Is it any good? Do you know what material to go for and how many layers it needs to be?

we need to know what he is doing exactly, before we can comment on the price.
i got a local man in with his hot asphalt tub/boiler. he did mine for 250 quid.
(nothing removed though).

He quoted me for the flat roof. He is putting board and 3 layers of felt. I am not sure the material. Is that helps?

if reboarding, then i reckon between 500/1000 should be ok depending where you live.
