It's a cracking printer. I've had one for 18 months or so. Separate inks, cheap compatibles can be used. Only downside is that the inks are separate from the two printheads meaning that ultimately the (expensive) printheads will need replacing. One of mine went wrong within 10 months and HP sent me two new printheads FOC.0
