Is this very dry sarcasm or did something happen you've failed to mention in the OP?
  • It had snowed heavily in Kent the night before. I was lucky to get a bus out of Meopham to Gravesend. When I got to Gravesend there were no buses to Ebbsfleet and the staff from arriva buses were not very helpful regarding their bus services. Luckily the train station was 2 minutes away. I walked over and found a member of staff who found out when the next service to Ebbsfleet was running.

I got to Ebbsfleet and everyone there was very helpful, informing us individually regarding the situation. Obviously all train services were severly disrupted due to bad weather. The staff on board eurostar were lovely considering the service was packed and hectic. I was seated in first class and immediately given food and refreshments, followed by more refreshments. Completely unexpected.

You get many posts about people not happy with services, I thought it would be nice to thank those that are helpful and do provide a good service.

  • I completely agree that many people post when they are not happy but don't bother to when they are. Good to know!
