ITV Daybreak - trying to enforce parent parking

Saw a trailer for Daybreak next week.
Katy Hill will be leading a campaign to "push for changes, like PARENT PARKING." In order to make Britain a more baby friendly country.
Classic comments from the webpage at itv.com/daybreak.... include:
"Are you bored of parking miles from the shop.... Or experiencing that inner rage when you see someone with no kids parking in a parent space? Then SIGN UP!"
"I’ll be raising all these issues with the government and pushing for change."
But wait a moment
"Unbelievably there are currently no laws in place to support parent parking. That’s just not acceptable."
At the end there is a survey about parent parking, with questions such as:
"Do you think there should be more wider parent and child parking bays in Supermarket car parks?"
"Have you ever used a wider parent and child parking bay when you don't have children in the car?"
And the best of all:
"Do you think there should be penalties for using the wider parent and child parking bays inappropriately?"
I guess no-one at Daybreak thought to ask Martin Lewis about this!!!

How about if you 'need' one because you are fat, or have a big car? Ludicrous people. You wonder how they manage to struggle through the day, don't you?0

Why would you want to park your parent?:)
I have to say I have seen a few parent and child bays placed nearer the stores then disabled bays!0 -
Can we have bays for green cars please.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

If I took my father shopping can I park in a child space. I am his child as he keeps reminding me.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

Is this the best they can do to get more than 6 peope a day to actually watch the programme? Turn it in mumsnet.tv?0
-
And if they can issue a penalty for inappropriate parking, will they also issue a penalty for being in "charge" of annoying brats in a supermarket?0

What about women with very high heels that are difficult to walk in? People with white trainers that could get dirty walking across a car park?Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0
