British Gas Social Tariff rules discriminate against disabled people

For those who have no experience of the extra costs of being disabled I suggest having a look at the discussion on the BBC Ouch! Disability Messageboard titled "What is DLA for?" (sorry - forum rules won't let me post a link). Also, most specialist items for disabled people cost a fortune e.g. an easy-grip spoon could cost £10!!!
Now you might understand why most organisations, including the Government, ignore DLA in income calculations.0
