    Morning all,

I'm up early as I ended up cancelling my annual leave today because when my colleagues found out why I couldn't make the Xmas do yesterday, they decided to chip in for my ticket & will then get it back on expenses later. I felt so embarassed yet flattered that they cared so much too, as much as I whinge about working here some days I really do love some of the people here!

That's so lovely. Hope you have a great time.

sorry for late check in...Not feeling great....will be okay. Just tired from trying to go nocturnal to escape the conspiracy (Dr. C says this is a delusion...Hmm...move away from the Land Rover Dr. C...at least the drivers seat)

But the good news is I picked up a new purse in the charity shop (tula :D) for £3.50 when I went to the bank for cash and they were lovely and so understanding and on tuesday I see the same lady (when I get paid) and like I just take in my ISA cash card...:j...

Hope everyone is well...praying for some nice cards (of the money/bus pass variety) in the post today :)

:rotfl:Too easily done - was me two weeks ago :rotfl:They're my favourite!

struggling to find a pattern for this wool I bought =(

if anyone can help... I am after a pattern for a triangular shawl/cowl/shrug with a simple lace pattern. the wool is called big softy (not the sirdir (sp) brand but a cheaper version) and knits as standard chunky and mohair.

Happycrafter - Are you on Ravelry??? If not, join up, search for the wool and see what everyone else has knitted with it. Or search for a pattern and see if you can substitute the wool... Otherwise you can 'stash' the wool and say you'd like to sell or trade it with someone who needs it.

    Me:
    • Declined offer of the pub... :o
    • Brekkie at home
    • Soup for lunch - no hot roast pork sarnie for me ;)
    • Turned the fridge freezer back on  so going to do a shop tonight so we can get some home cooked food cooking this weekend...Or might be using my slow cooker for making mulled wine :p
    • Free cuppa in work x 2
