Lending and Borrowing Exchange

I'd like to think of myself as a financially sophisticated investor, but when one of my friends mentioned this website I didn't know what to think of it.

http://www.zopa.com/

The concept is good and I think it would be a good investment (or is that my greed talking), in the sense that one should be able to get better rates for borrowing and lenders should get better rates than savings accounts, in theory...

As it hasn't launched yet there's only so much I can say. However I would be interested in peoples opinions on whether this would be a good investment.

I should also point out that I am in no way affiliated to this website or any members of it.

Interesting but extremely high risk. The company is not regulated by anyone, so the risk of your money disappearing is pretty high.....
