yep looks good for the price, you wont be playing crysis but it should be able to watch HD flash (eg iplayer and youtube), asus is a good brand, and has win7 home premium (not the crappy starter), and 4GB of ram is plenty and the 500GB HDD will give you plenty of space. (though always sensible to keep a backup)
basically celeron is better than pentium, it is more efficient, and newer,
if you get it just be sure to burn the restore discs if it doesn't come with them in the box0 -
Its for my fiance's xmas, he wil just use it for browsing internet and playing online games, storing photos and music etc.

Looks like a nice laptop, but I would maybe recommend giving Dell a go as well. It's always worth getting a 3 year warranty, too. I can guarantee you something will go wrong with most laptops within a 3 year period.
I've used Dell at work and at home for many years and their service and quality of laptops has always been excellent. Best warranty in the business too
