Not sure if I should post here, but wanted to tell every one what happened
Any one going to HALFORDS ALPERTON...
BEWARE!!!
We went there to look at Hayes book and there was a open book lying there, we started looking at it, it was an older version and we wanted a newer one. In mean while, the store manager came in and said its not a reference book. We said its ok, but we looked as it as it was open, we are just looking so that we can decide and buy the version we need. Instead of helping us out, he shouted at us, abused us and literally drew us to the front door and kicked us out of the shop. It felt horrible. May be he was a racist or some one who thinks he owns the company...or May be he had a bad day, but still no way to treat your customers in country like UK and company like Halfords. I am not sure what you can do in situation like this, but as far as I know, I am not going back to any Halfords and for others who do, beware.

Go on then, Ill bite. Explain.0 -
The op looked at an open haynes manual, which are always sealed, to fix a problem instead of buying the book. The manager may have rightly or wrongly assumed he opened it in purpose to do this , so threw him out. The op now believes the manager is a racist and is out to get him and that all halfords employees are racist so don't go in there.0

This must be a wind up. Even if it isn't it's not worthy of anyone's attention. "Might have been a racist!"0

I'd also point out that you do no favours to those people making complaints about experiencing actual racism by immediately crying "racist" at situations where the colour of a person's skin has had absolutely no influence on proceedings.0
