Halifax Clarity Reward CC - Change to T&Cs

Hi all,
Apologies if this turns out to be a dumb question, but I received a letter from Halifax today announcing changes to the Halifax Credit Card terms and conditions.
The bit I'd like to draw to your attention is this: "New conditions 11.9 and 11.10 will be added which confirm that to be eligible for the £5 cashback reward you must, at the time you entered into the agreement {Italics my own}:
- Have held a Halifax current account and pay in £1000 or more each month; or
- Used our switching service...and agreed to pay in £1000 or more each month
- Opened or already held a Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Account
So, for somebody like me, who opened a Reward Current Account, and almost immediately then applied for the Clarity Reward Credit Card account from my new current account online banking (just before the first £1000 credit went in), does this mean that I will not get the £5 a month credit because, technically, at the time I applied I did not meet any of the above three conditions. If so that seems rather unfair given that (a) those conditions weren't in place when I signed up, and (b) I have subsequently met the first of the 3 conditions. Seems really unfair to move the goalposts after the event. If I'd been forewarned, I would have waited a month to apply for the credit card, and thus had no trouble qualifying.
Have I interpreted this condition right, and if so, is there anything I can do about it?
Thoughts?

Hi,
So apologies for asking the question in the first place -- received my CC statement today which answered the question for me: yes, I do qualify for the £5.
Probably should find a better hobby than worrying about obscure T&Cs...!0
