Reputable drop shipping site

Considering having a go at drop shipping. Been doing some research and topwholesaleshop.com seems worth a look.

Do any of you guys have any experience with this company, or could you reccomend any other good drop shipping sites?

  • Hi OP I am taking this as spam, but I will reply dropshipping is a waste of time and the easiest way to get ripped off regardless of the site you use.
DO NOT EVER CONSIDER DROPSHIPPING YOU WILL BE CONNED.

You may not necessarily be conned, but you open yourself up to problems in eBay if you have delivery issues with your supplier as some of them can take a number of weeks to deliver, by which point a buyer would probably have opened and won a dispute case.

Most drop shippping wholesalers are dearer than ebay. Just think about it logically, any seller can buy from a drop shipper and most people then sell on ebay which forces down the prices.

For a successful business it is much better to find a unique item and buy outright after negotiating direct with a supplier.

Dropshipping isn't the easy option it appears to be. You need to constantly stay on top of the stock levels your supplier holds to ensure that the item you're selling is still in stock. The best way to do that is to keep a couple of the items in your own premises so you can send them straight out and then use the drop-shipper to replenish your stock.

The other problem is that unless you sample all the items you intend to sell you have no way to check quality and that the items are what the drop-shipper says they are. For instance that seller you asked about seems to have a lot of branded electricals, how do you know without buying samples first that they are what they say they are ? Anyone can post a pretty picture on a website.

Try asking about specific dropshippers on the various dropship forums.
