I find the Duracell Plus batteries run out far to quickly. You need to get the Ultra for any decent life. I find that the Panasonic xtreme last as long as the Ultra.
Tub of 24 (6 x 4) from John Lewis £6.95. If you can make up to £30 you get free delivery.
I usually buy a tub of the AA and AAA every Christmas.
    Regards.

Uber cheap batteries are a false economy. I've had many electronic devices ruined after cheap batteries leaked their acid and corroded the contacts. It's always worth stumping up for more reputable brands, or better still.... use rechargeables. :-)

I must stop buying smellies..well until i spot a bargain!
never turn a bargain /freebie down you just never know when you need it :D
  • I only bought them for toys - So should do nicely!!!

My grandson gets REALLY upset when his favourite toys run out of batteries and either me or him Mum have no batteries in the house

He is Autistic so gets distressed very easily and finds it comforting to watch the flashing lights toys especially!

Plus when he gets a favourite toy he plays with it repetiively for AGES and runs the batteries out very quickly as he NEVER gets bored of his toys , bless him

So now we won't run out for AGES as I'll split them between the 2 houses!! :-))
  • Just looked on the Poundstretcher website & seems the cheap batteries on there are indeed cheap batteries ie not known brand!

Didn't even KNOW you could order online at Poundstretcher! lol

So this has helped me out as I prefer to order online and they do have some good household bargains usually!

    So thanks OP!!
