I tried some bargain shop batteries just the other week. Put them in my camera, I managed to take just 1 picture before the "new batteries!" indicator started flashing :rotfl:

Re the Poundstretcher ones - Zinc or Alkaline?
Won't touch Zinc with a bargepole cost they run out in minutes.
I go for the Kodak alkalines from Poundland. Had 2 in my xbox controller for nearly 9 months with daily use.0
