Sorry for the late reply; only just noticed your question.

Although we haven't increased our standard rates since August 2008, there have been a number of different products introduced/removed since that time.

Saveonline 4 was introduced on 26 October 2010 and runs until 15 January 2012. This tariff is set up differently to most of our other products, in that, the discount for online management is built into the unit prices rather than shown as a separate percentage figure.

The unit price is based on our standard rates less an amount for managing the account online. The actual price varies between the different regions around the UK.

However, Saveonline 4 is not a fixed/protected product and the unit rates will change if our standard prices change, even if this is within the life of the tariff.

The best way to see all the options available, both with us and the other suppliers, is to pop your details on to one of the comparison sites.

Eon is the only power company not to have stated if an increase is coming or not. EDF are holding off until earliest 1st April 2011, npower go up 4-1-11, bg went up 10-12-10, sse went up on gas only 1-12-10 and scottish power went up 25-11-10. Isave dual fuel by utility warehouse is no longer for sale isave 7 is now out and dearer, but isave 6 is dearer than save online 4 anyway
