I am going to Chester for a meeting at HQ Building. Do you know where can I park for free? My appointment is just after 3 pm. I am looking for somewhere which is not too far from HQ building.

Put the postcode into Google maps, then look on street view to see the surrounding streets and signs.
Failing that park in a local Supermarket car park, just ignore any flyer they put on your windscreen which pretends to be a fine. It isn't.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

When I commuted there to UNi, Tesco car park, which is in the centre, is fairly cheap, and more so if you buy something from there..
Other than that you'll have to pay, or park for a short time on City road, and the surrounding ones, which i think are still 1hr stay. A lot of the places i used to park for free have since become permit-holders' spaces so i'm not sure if you can still park there without getting a ticket.
Otherwise, go towards the student area, near to the uni, and park on a road down there, but don't be suprised if your car is damaged or dented when you come back to it ;S0 -
Doesn't your HQ have any parking. If not then they should be covering the cost if it's for business purposesIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0
