Grrrr Husbands Parking Ticket on Car In My Name

Oh How I could kill him.
Right, today I received a Charge Certificate from the council for a parking ticket my OH got on the 28th September. It seems he forgot to pay it.
However, according to the charge cert they sent we a Notice to Owner on 2nd November, which I most definitley did not receive, and would have paid if I had, also this is not the first time this particular Council has failed to send me a NTO, last time was 3 years ago.
Is there anywhere I can go with this or have I just got to cough up the £150? (and frame the charge cert for OH's christmas present)

Thanks for that, I'll have a good read.
Have since spoken to OH, he said he stopped in the space briefly, no longer that 2 mins, crossed the road to ask 2 people outside the building where the car park was and got back in and went to the car park. He didn't get a ticket so we can only assume either a warden was writing one out when he drove away or he was snapped by a car, they have those Smart cars with a camera on the top.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Your hubby got access to the letterbox?
A stitch in time means you can't afford a new one.0 -
Doesn't matter now, there'll be no point hubby (possibly) hiding any post now.
If the OP just waits for the Order for Recovery then follows the correct procedure she can get the case re-set back to NtO stage then get pepipoo advice to get the ticket cancelled in most cases:

The post comes after he goes to work and I'm the first one home, so unless he's knobbled to postman he's hasn't had access to the post . The last one was mine, which I didn't hide from myself

I'm going to write to them today, I don't mind paying the initial fine as he did park in a residents bay, albeit briefly, but I'd rather not pay £150!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
You will be wasting your time and a stamp writing to them and appealing to their better nature, they don't have one. Follow C.M's advice and go to pepipoo.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
