Getting on the electoral roll

Hi all. After quite a lot of digging (with more than a little help from you guys) I've finally come to grips with my credit history and it seems like the last thing holding me back from an exemplary score is not being on the electoral roll yet. I did only move in September, but I'm wondering how much longer I should expect my name to appear on the electoral roll given that I applied to have it added as soon as I moved in.
I've also spoken to a canvassing person from the council doing doorstep collections of names - that was about a month ago. How much longer will it be!?

Any time after 1st December.
Ask your council when they sent/plan to send the update.
Order your credit report(s) to confirm the CRAs have the details. If they haven't, keep ringing for updates.
Make your credit application(s).0 -
Thanks, 1 December was the date given to me when I did speak to the council, but nothing as yet. I have an account with Experian, so would it be showing on there by now if they'd updated it?0

Not necessarily - it could take a few weeks for everything to filter through and get updated0 -
The new registers are published on 1 December. It usually takes us around three weeks to update what is usually about two million changes to the electoral roll each year, so your details should appear on your credit report just before Christmas.
