Hi Guys first post on here!!
I will try and keep this short but give you all the details. I currently own a 2 bed flat on a joint mortgage with my mum's now ex. We have just put it on the market with morris dibben (1.5% fee, down from 2%) for 170k. This is just to avoid things getting messy. He is currently saying I will keep the profit made as he has never contributed to the flat costs etc. It looks like Im going to be left with around 5k after paying everything off including my loan and C Card. I am able to move home for a few months should my flat be sold soonish. As my deposit isnt going to be great I have been looking into the Easybuy scheme and wondered if its a good idea? I have looked into the part buy part rent idea and have been able to rule this out myself. I understand with the Easybuy scheme they will market the property higher than they should but currently I dont see another way out. I would be looking at a 1 bed flat and at least this way I would own it and this situation im in now wouldnt happen again.
My question is has anyone used the scheme and if so how did they find it and any advice will be helpful
Thanks
