I have a wireless router which is wired to my gaming PC, wifi'd to my laptop & phone (Orange San Francisco).
Have no problems both all can access the net & I can transfer files between the PC & laptop, but I want to transfer photos from the phone to the PC.
The network will not see the phone. Am I missing something or do I need a Bluetooth dongle to do this?

Windows file sharing isn't directly supported by Android.

I haven't tried it myself but the ASTRO file manager together with the ASTRO SMB module should do the trick.

Here's a link to SMB on AppBrain giving a little bit of info on it. You can download both from the Android market directly - http://www.appbrain.com/app/astro-smb-module/com.metago.astro.smb

There could be other options I just remember seeing that one when looking through AppBrain for something else.

There's a bluetooth module for it too if you prefer that. I did use that at one time and it worked but was a bit klunky.

Simplest of all of course is a USB cable so long as the San Francisco supports that option.
