Pull up bar

  • Yes. Just screw the two end sockets to the door lining or stop (make sure you don't affect the closing of the door), then the bar fits inside and you adjust it to a tight fit.

Do you need tools and stuff or is it just a case of clamping it to the door?

Normally they need a screwdriver to attach some cups to the door frame otherwise it would either slip down the frame taking the paint of with it or crack the frame as you would need to make it really tight to stop it slipping.

You will need a screwdriver and perhaps a hammer to tap the screw in with a little before you start screwing it in.
  • Would this be easy to setup for a person who has no concept whatsoever of DIY?

Do you have a screw driver?
If yes you will be able to do it.
DIY gets better the more you do, so this is a great way for you to start DIY.

You forgot to ask if the OP is left or right handed as that may affect the type of screwdriver that needs to be bought.

From the diagram it seems I will only need a screwdriver - http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/SID-F0E868A0-9E1C9BF0/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_16565.htm
