thermawrap (foil loft insulation)

Hi,
Has anyone had any experience in using Thermawrap or similar products? It's the bubblewrap stuff with foil on both sides.
In our loft we have the cotton wool type insulation, which is pants. In some areas there just isn't any as it's been blown away. So I'm thinking of alterntatives. We don't use the loft really, only for the odd suitcase as there are too many pipes and access is cramped, so boarding isn't really important.
I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks
Dave

Not yet, but I'm going to be buying some for the knee wall in out attic room this week.
I bought the space blanket (like this) for the flat rafters. It was dead easy to use on the flat, and just went straight over the top of the old stuff. But it was too much hassle to attach it to the knee wall.
Did you know that B&Q have a 2 for 1 offer on thermawrap (and space blankets) at the moment? It's due to last another week or so, but I could only find the thermawrap in the big warehouse store. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0 -
I got something like that from screwfix, i've only used it on the loft hatch so far.
I prefer the fiberglass rolls now they are sealed in, much cleaner to use and i would think a lot more efficient.0 -
Does anyone know if any of the big DIY shops are doing any other offers on loft insulation? I know Wickes used to have an offer last year of 3 for 2.
