Weaning!!

Just noticed that they babies are boys. Not to start an argument, but boys are usually a bit later than girls reaching milestones (including weaning) for the first year or so.

I didn't bother going to the health visitors for my second child.

I knew what I was doing, and if I had a serious health worry I saw the doctor.

The HVs went right down in my estimation when I had postnatal depression second time around.

I asked for help/begged for help, nothing. I was seriously ill and I got nothing from them. Whereas a friend of mine who lived in a council estate with three children and coping brilliantly got hassled by the very same HVs insisting she needed help, the same week I begged for help.

Having dragged myself through the toughest times, and getting myself the right help through paying an absolute fortune, I wouldn't touch my HVs with a barge pole.

You do what you feel is right. You aren't going to harm them doing anything a week or two later than she goes on about. As someone has also stated milestones are based on due date not the premature birth date.
