Replacement Santander credit card not received

Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago (25th Nov) I realised that I needed some extra funds for chrimbo so called Abbey and asked them to send me a new credit card (I had cut it up)
My pin arrived in a couple of days but so far no sign of the card!
I called them yesterday and a girl said that there had been lots of calls about this same thing happening but she reckoned my card would arrive today and if it didn't, I could arrange for a new card to be couriered out to me.
No card in the post today so I called back up. Guy played completely dumb...he wasn't aware of any issues but as it had been more than 10 days he would cancel and reorder.
I told him what the advisor had said to my yesterday but told me that was all misinformation and it was Royal Mail or nothing. NO way would the card be sent out by other means (read as...you dont have enough credit for it to be worth our while)

I desperately need this card before christmas and just dont know what to do. I'm almost in tears as I have so much to buy and currently no means to do it (Before anyone says anything I get my bonus at work in Jan so can pay everything off then)

Do keep hanging on and hoping, reorder now and hope it gets here before christmas or what??

Has anyone else had any issues like this? What was the outcome??

Took them 5 weeks to send me a Asda card,expect nothing from satandire and you wont be disappointed

When did you get your PIN? There's normally a gap of 3-7 days between PIN and card. Given the snow situation, you could add another 3 days on that. So the original may still be on its way.

Unless it's gone astray in the post - which is possible but unlikely - you're probably best off holding on for another day or two. Then reorder and hope you get it in the next few days.

Is your shopping going to be online or in shops?
