Hi...I need some advice from you lovely people.
Ive only just realised that I can reclaim unfair charges back. I have been on Capital One's case...they instantly offered me £389 back. Im now after MBNA.
I wrote to them in November asking for a copy of my card charges. They have just sent a copy of these back to me. I opened my account with them in 1998 and got into diffculty paying them back in 2000.
Can I reclaim from 2000 or is it only the last 6 years I can claim back?
Help and advice would be greatly appreciated x:eek:

But you appear to have refused it as it was only about 30% of what you asked for

Regarding MBNA, are you saying you received back a list of charges going all the way back to 2000???
I suggest you read the MSE guide to reclaiming credit card charges. You need to find all the fines you’ve been charged by each credit card. You can go back six years in England and Wales or five years in Scotland; these time periods are limited by law."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Thanks Premier!! Of course I refused "Crap ones" meager offer!
No MBNA have not sent me them from 6 years ago. But I wondered if I could claim back to pre-6 years ago?! Help!!!!0
