  • If sports/dietry supplements are your thing then it is worth stocking up on them as they are considerably cheaper.

Old Navy is great, its like Gap, owned by Gap but cheaper and they do great sales, I bought some t shirts for my daughter a couple of days ago for 97 cents each! My husband bought a couple of t shirts in Walmart for $5 each and I've got pyjamas from Walmart, $13 and 2 nightshirts for my mum in the sale for $7 each. They have a really nice store called Bath and Bodyworks that sells smellies, a really nice brand is C O Bigelow, they also sell Burts Bees in there.

Juicy Couture is alot cheaper in the US around half price, if you go to an outlet village or SAKS Off Fifth which is the Saks Sale Shop for them they have 75% off.

Sunglasses are a good buy too, I got some genuine Dior ones for $70 that are £120 over here!:j

A lot of medications are cheaper over there, Renatadine (zantac) and hydrocortisone are two examples. Bedding, feather beds and any clothes.

Thanks to everyone for these tips!!!!!

Doing a bit of internet surfing around to make the most of my shopping time there and the make-up counters won't know what hit them!

Have found that the Walgreen sells 'Burts Bees' skincare stuff, which I've seen over here in House of Fraser (gift sets) for about 4 times as much - think Santa will be giving these to all the ladies in the family!!

All the best and thanks again.

I'm in Florida at the moment and just bought some Burts Bees apricot bath oil in Walgreens, its on sale at $4.19 which is an absolute bargain as its 9.99 GBP on their website.
