Cafe Rouge Printworks

Not sure were to start,
We arrived and all the staff were too busy chatting to notice we had arrived, They failed to great us, We went to the bar and where told to take a sit. We then asked to be seated somewhere away from kids, We got pointed to a spare table (it was NOT busy in there). We went and sat down, been in the cafe for around 10 mins and no had taken our drinks order. The guy gave us our menus and went off to join his works mates at the bar to chat, Still no drinks order been taken.
They take our order along with drinks. I ask for no lime/lemon in my drink and ice, Drink comes with no ice and lime, I take it out and just drink it not waiting 10 mins for a replacement. Our starters arrive wow talk about small. I took the time to order a stella (guess what it arrives 10 mins later) friend is disappointed with starter 2 very small crab cakes, Having had snails before i was fine with mine.
The mains arrive, After reading the menu when they arrived my friend looked at me and said is this it, He had 4 small pieces of chicken breast in part cooked veg. I had 5 pieces of beef with part cooked green beans, there was loads of sauce. I did ask for black pepper but guess what it never arrived, No one came back to the table to see if the meal was ok. At this point we decided to not have pudding and just buy one from tescos.
I have never been to cafe rouge and would never go again, £44 was spent in there (used some reward vouchers) Never left a tip. This is the first time i have never left one. I felt we had kid size meals. To me it was not worth the money, The service was bad and slow with drinks.
If i had to rate Cafe Rouge out of 10 i would not be able to offer anything above 3. I am NOT looking for any compensation just letting people know my experience.

I only ever eat at Cafe Rouge when I have a buy one get one free voucher for main courses, as otherwise it's massively overpriced!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

On my one visit to Cafe Rouge we had steak and fries, i have never seen such tiny portions, its outrageous considering the cost to eat there...0
