Rainwater guttering collapse

Hey all,
Not sure what the best plan for this one is but this morning half of ours (and next doors) rainwater guttering fell off at the back of the house due to the snow/ice on it. Obviously it may not be possible to fix due to the weather (we currently have around a foot of snow in the back garden under where it fell) but when it is repairable who do I get in touch with? My guess would be a roofer, or could I do it myself with a big enough ladder? In the mean time is it safe not having any guttering? I've knocked as much snow off the roof as I can to stop any more coming down, next door have done the same. Any advice?

roofer would be my first choice but I'm sure general builderswill also do things like this. You could have a shot yourself depending on how high it is, what needs repaired/replaced and how comfortable you are on ladders.0

Hahah I saw that video! No it is not us, I think if I had hit the snow off it would of been fine.
I think I should be able to give it a shot myself, but with all the snow outside I might have to leave it a few weeks, will this cause any damage to the roof?0 -
shouldn't cause any problems with the roof itself but obviously you will have a lot more water falling off the roof when there is no guttering.0

If the brackets are still firmly fixed, and you have a saw, and can do lego, you'll be fine.
Wait until the weather improves, investigate and take a broken piece to the plastic suppliers with you so he can match it, replace any dodgy brackets.
Tools needed ladder, saw, screwdriver, drill (maybe). Its a very simple system really. Have a go.0 -
It's a good job that happened now, in a couple of weeks time Rudolph may have been sitting up there.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
