Help - ipod keeps freezing

Can anybody advise what I need to do. My ipod seems to be stuck I cant get to shift from music to shuffle or even play at the moment, even when I reset it, it still wont work? Does anybody know what I need to do. Thanks

Consult Apple forums (there's lots of them). More likely to get a result there than here.0

I would suggest taking it to an Apple store. They're usually pretty helpful there and can suggest the best solution for you.
Sounds quite severe though. What iPod do you have?
If its an iPod Classic I would say it sounds like the Hard Drive has malfunctioned. If it's a Nano it could be a problem with the circuitry. You might be lucky and the iPod will just need to be restored back to factory defaults if its a software issue.0
