I've got two tickets from Glasgow - London on the 11th January 2011 if anyone needs them - the earlier train wasn't available at the time and have had to re-book ggrrr!

I've got tickets for January and February. £16 return, London to Aberdeen. Add the £7.50 return fare Brighton to London and my £10 Oyster card for the tube. £57 for two return journeys from one end of the country to the other.

Im thinking of going away on a break from london, but still not sure about the destination. Thinking of glasgow, newscastle or york but what is there to do over there? Can anyone suggest a nice place with tourist attractions valid for this offer (other than edinburgh)?
