    Going back to OP's original post...

    If you are considering doing a course at college, means tested benefits will qualify you for free or reduced course fees (this may vary from one college to another)
    I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.

    They should be doing courses to improving their literacy while unemployed, its shockingly bad but not as bad as their lack of knowledge of benefits and the dire need to share it with us all preporting it to be fact, we know its rubbish but a new poster or someone just popping in might believe them!

    I just assumed the comments were very tongue-in-cheek or else said through an enormous shoulder-chip! Certainly didn't take them seriously.
