Got a call from them last week saying they would like to look at my call plan and see if they could save me money
Here we go I thought - they are going to try and talk me into extras
I'm on a contract with about a year left to go and pointed this out but the guy already knew this and said they had some flexibilty and after a few minutes he had added 0845 and 0870 numbers to be included in my free call allocation plus reduced my monthly payment by a fiver.
Apparently it is to increase customer loyalty and they are being proactive with existing customers - well it certainly shut this cynic up!
And it is nice to see a big company doing something for existing customers :T

I've had some great deals from Vodafone calling up this way. Last year I asked them to match my friend's deal with them on pay as you go, and they went one better and made it a fiver cheaper; this year they upgraded my phone to a brand new one for only a tenner more (including extras), when previously I was on a SIM-only deal.
