HI everybody,
I know this thread is a tad old but the theme isn't.
I have some spare wooden floor underlay (Timbermate Excel Silver) and I have put it behind my radiators.
ANd then I had a thought - are silver/foil-backed underlays good for putting behind the radiators ? And are they safe ? (i.e. they won't catch fire due to the heat radiating from the radiators.
Any experts out there ?0 -
I doubt it would even get warm - touch it and see. I bet you could put a piece on top of the radiator with no ill effects anyway.

Toolstation sell similar stuff to Wickes at £4.79 for 4mx0.47m packs delivered free over £10. Wickes now cost £17.99 for 8mx0.6m packs. I am about to fit foil when I remove and replace some radiators.0
