O.H was dismissed on ill health grounds 3 weeks ago.
he was told he would get 12 weeks in lieu of notice and his owed hoilday pay.
he recieved a cheque with no breakdown of the monies, then when we asked for a breakdown he recieved a printout saying how much was tax free(pilon) and someother figures under vague headings such as "other pay".
as the pilon was certainly incorrect(down by a couple of £1000) we asked for a further breakdown.
2 weeks later still no joy.
my question is can we bank the cheque? or would this be accepting the lower, incorrect amount?
