I now have insurance in place so "panic over" xx.0 -
I have done this, i am 51 and in good health, managed to get a policy that did not cost an arm and a leg.£20,000 for 20 years from tesco for £15.71, well worth it to put my mind at rest.Had to take longer term to reduce the monthly premium.
You could have got it cheaper elsewhere. Less than £8 as a non-smoker and less than £13 as a smoker. This is on the basis that the plan is level.I am a Chartered Financial Planner

I went on a comparison website and that was the cheapest. Will take another look, will see if i can cancel tesco i only did this wednesday.
