advise needed on venting a tumble dryer

Today I have bought a tumble dryer from a household auction. The vent kit was attached to the front of the machine, but it looks like it is possible to vent it from the back instead. I would prefer this if possible.
I have removed the vent hose and attachment from the front and put it on the back. It fits perfectly, no problems. I have removed a blanking-off cap from the back, which looks as though it will fit perfecly on the front. Except that there is a white plastic grid over the hole at the front and this needs to come off before the cap will fit on. I've tried gently pulling it. I've twisted it clockwise and anti-clockwise. But I can't get it off.
It is an Electra 37755 Dryer
Does anyone have a manual or know how to get this grid thing off without breaking it?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.

Done it :j :j :j
It took a bit of lateral thinking. I found a venting kit for it on ebay which said it also fitted a Creda 37549. So I downloaded an instruction booklet for the 37549 and sure enough it gave instructions for how to remove the grid.
It needed a 1/12th turn and a gentle tug. :TFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -
For anyone thinking of this, most TDs with a hose can have it fitted either to the front or the back. Plus (as I discovered last week after owning the thing for 2 years), the door can usually be fitted for left or right opening too.0
