I have been on High Rate Disability and ESA for 2 years. Went for medical on 5/11/10 and they only awarded me 9 points and was told to sign on for JSA. I have Ostearthitis, Clinical Depression and Epilepsy, but they ony mentioned the epilepsy on assessment. I have put in an appeal and my GP has said i'm not fit to work and gave me a sick note from the 18/11/10 which is when they stopped my ESA. I called them this morning because I was told that whilst appeal is pending they resume payments but they have only paid me 74 pounds. Is this right. Thanks

whilst the Appeal is in progress they can pay you Income Support but 20% is deducted from your actual entitlement.0

after asking the previous question i received a call from Appeals who informed me that after receiving a letter from my local MP (who i asked to intervene) they have decided to reverse their decision in my favour and that i will actually get more money. RESULT!0
