in House buying, renting & selling
I was wondering if there is any money to be made at the moment in holiday lets, and if so, where would a good place be to look for a suitable property...?

    Ideally it would be located near yourself, or near someone you can trust to clean the property after every departing guest.

    You would need to market the property yourself, or you would need to employ an agent to do it for you so bear in mind they will take a commission.

    Best place to start is to compare where the best destinations are in the UK. More people holiday in Cornwall than, for arguments sake, Dudley.

    Try looking at holiday websites to see how much rentals can be achieved in various areas compared to property prices.

    The tax (income, CGT, council etc etc etc..) make a big difference to if it is worthwhile or not...
