Altinkum Turkey - Accomodation Only

Hello there,

Me and three other adults along with two children and one infant will be going to Altinkum for two weks on the 25th July 2011 for two weeks.

Ive been searching sites and theres so much option but sometimes little information about Villas/Hotels for rent.

We're looking for about £300 p/w for the two weeks so about £600 in total and was wondering if anyone can help me out and give me any recommendations or prices of decent places to look at.

Any help Greatly appreciated.

  • I think you may struggle to find a privately owned villa for £600 for what will be the busiest two weeks of the holiday season, as most owners will probably charge that per week. You might find an apartment within your budget but it will most likely be a bit cramped for space with all of your party in one apartment.

I know privately owned accommodation will be more luxurious and better equipped but it may work out cheaper for your party to split into two groups and book separate rooms or apartments in a hotel or apart hotel. We usually stay self catering at the Mutlu Apartments or bed and breakfast at the Miletos Hotel. They are both pretty basic but clean and comfortable, situated right in the centre of Altinkum and only a couple of minutes walk to the main beach.

I find Travel Republic or Alpha Rooms are usually the best sites for booking the cheapest prices. I don't think they will be showing much choice in accommodation at the moment as most of the hotels won't have released their prices for 2011 yet but there should be more choice from about February onwards.

I know Altinkum fairly well (have been 20+ times) so if you want to know where a particular hotel is situated or I can help in any way, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to help. I can also give you details of reliable companies for airport transfers if you need them.:)
