Southern softest, noticed since last week snow in news mostly southern based, little coverage was given when the North had snow almost 2 weeks ago.

Hard work shifts snow, shovel and salt :)

You could get some bags of salt and a couple of shovel and all together to help out or take it in turns
  • I think it's a bit too late to buy bags of salt. Every where is sold out. And the yellow bins at the side of the roads are all empty due to people stealing it to sell.
  • The local Travis Perkins still has salt, they do 25kg bags for £7, and they can deliver it tomorrow. Looks like that would be the best option, cant really see anyone here getting their shovels out
  • Oh no scratch that idea, boss decided just now not to bother. Someone's obviously told him that if he does clear the car park and someone slips he would be liable. Nice

I think you'll find that's actually not the case.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Can't blame him really, it's "compo culture" that's to blame.

Just put up a sign saying "Caution: Ice", problem solved.

In my office we'd just take the P out of whoever it was slipped and hurt themselves.
