Well Ive been reading on here some people are having problems with winter DD payments to OVO and that they have been charged a huge amount, Ive begun the switching process to them and I had to say I was getting a little worried about what they would charge me, But today I received confirmation that it will be only £60 a month for gas+elec combined - pretty happy with that seeing as Swalec have just sent me a bill for near enough £90 for the month (their gas is a rip off!). Worked it out on the usage Ive used for this month that £60 will be around accurate, be saving about £10 alone on Standing Charges!

I'm with OVO and have nothing but a good experiance. the online MyOVO is excellent for keeping track of your bills and consumption. To keep track and avoid anything unexpected you should provide monthly meter readings online via MyOVO. Also keep a spread sheet of the readings so you can compare costs year by year or month by month.
