Nigella does a lovely recipe for lamb with pomegranites - She basically roasts a whole leg of lamb for ages on a very low heat with lots of salt and pepper and then gets a fork and "tears" the meat off the bone and puts it onto a serving dish and then sprinkles the whole thing with pomegranite seeds. It looks lovely but I've never tried it.

Slice in half, turn upsidedown and whack with a wooden spoon. The fruit drops out.
