None left in: Selfridges
Hi Glitterari, not sure why they told you there was none left at Selfridges. I popped in on my way to work yesterday morning. The lady on the Benefit counter said she had none left, but she sent me to the brow bar. They said I had to have a makeover to get my pallete. I explained I was on my way to work, so I had the quickest makeover ever - it lasted two minutes, Ha!
I was almost tempted to buy some products. Especially the highlighter they used for my makeover. I might buy it another day when I have some spare cash!0 -

This was on Fishergate. They were delivered over the weekend, I believe. My son's girlfriend picked them up for me while she was at work. Being a kind "mother-in-law", I gave her one of them.

My son has a Christmas job in HOF I'm going to send him to the make-up counter tomorrow and tell him to use his charm!Dum Spiro Spero0

I went into Oxford today and both Boots and Debenhams were out of stock of the palettes. They both said they all went immediately. So, I spent £3 on a magazine I didn't really want, and £1.80 on parking, and I got nothing for my trouble. Definitely not worth the bother!
On the other hand, I DID find a shoe shop on my travels that sold shoes in my size (no mean feat when you take a size 9-10) so it wasn't all bad... expensive, but not actually bad
The mag was issued for sale around 26 Oct, so you had 10 days (inc. two Saturdays) before and including the day of your post.
If you didn't want the mag, why not go to Boots and Debenhams before hand to make sure they had these in stock?
I think this was a fantastic offer and just because you were too late to benefit you shouldn't take it out on MSE.0 -

I never thought of doing this, so thanks for the tip.
I knew it was "while stocks last" but I never thought they would run out so quickly.
I was dissapointed but it's just luck of the draw.I think this was a fantastic offer and just because you were too late to benefit you shouldn't take it out on MSE.
To be fair I don't think the poster was. Their post contained a smilie :-)
I was very dissapointed but it's just luck of the draw.
If anyone is to blame it's people taking many to sell on ebay to make a profit.
I would like one but I don't think I should encourage this.0 -
