Thanks Everyone - Debt Free Today!

I became debt free an hour ago, after paying off £6,500 in two years.
I don't earn a huge amount, and have the usual expenses eating into my salary every month (rent, utilities, Council Tax etc...) so it hasn't always been easy. I've followed the MSE website and DFW thread ever since i realised i was ignoring my growing credit card use, and i've been helped, inspired and often touched by huge amount of effort MSEers are willing to give to helping people they've never met.
I really want to thank Martin for starting up such a useful site, and for doing so much to help so many people for free - you have so much to be proud of.
I also have to thank all you wonderful MSEers, and in particular the DFW angels. You are all stars. Congratulations to those of you who are already debt free, and good luck to everyone else.
I am so grateful x

Congratulations!
I am just starting out and it's good to hear of someone at the end of the road. Have you posted your story of how you did it anywhere? I'd love to know.

Congratulations Gillby1!
As you can see from my sig I've got a bit less than what you started out with, and hopefully in a couple of years I'll be able to post a very similar thing! The successes are a great motivator - what are you going to do with the money you'd been throwing at your debts each month?
