Depends on your region, and your annual consumption. There is no 'overall cheapest', or everyone would be on that.

As said you need your annual assuage to get a proper comparison it can vary so much also on area you live in0

gas is cheaper per kWH and costs about 30% the cost of one electric kWH, however you can erode this by having an inefficient burner / boiler / using your system inefficiently.0
