Advice re concert tickets bought on credit card

Hi all,

I bought 2 extra tickets by mistake for a concert on credit card (dont ask how!) As i cant get any information from the vendor I was wondering if anyone knew whether I am able to get my money back. I have contact names of people at the venue who are aware of the issue from the night, but I cant seem to get anyone to reply from the ticket agency.

Is it possible to get the credit card company to reduce the payment as I didnt get the service?

What is the "issue from the night"

You bought tickets that you did not use, can't see why the credit card company would refund anything to be honest.

It is not the case that you did not get the service....the concert took place....you bought tickets that you did not need, so no your credit card company will not refund anything....

Im not normally as amateur as this, honest! But the 'issue' was that there were two concerts on at the same venue (unmarked) and none of us knew of the upstairs. So obviously there was no record of tickets so we bought some more on the door with the idea Id sort it out later. I thought the guy on the door couldve checked myself. One of our four came late and I told him this and to buy a ticket. It was only then we realised it was the wrong venue. The 2 extra bought was my fault really for not checking, but I didnt know if there was anyway of getting something back.

Twas a good gig though so Im not complaining too much!
